What's the story?

JUNGLE JUNCTION is a place like no other, where colorful animals on wheels speed through the forest on soaring roads that float among the trees. It’s here that Zooter (voiced by Janet James), Ellyvan (Billy West), Dozer (Keith Wickham), and their friends head off for adventures that teach them about friendship and respect for their environment. When troubles arise, the friends rely on their communication and problem-solving skills to smooth things over and get back on track.

Is it any good?

With its delightful cast of critters zipping around their jungle home at preschooler-like speed, Disney combines two surefire kid-pleasers -- animals and vehicles -- into one in this fast-paced show. Their adventures are the stuff of youngsters’ imaginations, so kids are sure to enjoy tagging along for the ride.

With trademark Disney expertise, Jungle Junction also weaves excellent lessons into its storylines, encouraging kids to retain directions, follow road signs, and practice skills like counting. To top it off, each story raises issues that kids will relate to and gives them a chance to see effective communication and problem-solving in action.

  • Kids: How does this show compare to some of your other favorites? Did you enjoy answering the characters’ questions? What did you learn from this show?

Great show for the little ones
I watch everything that my child does. I have watched many of these episodes with her and have noting but positive things to say. She loves all of the characters (but she does have her faves). The show is educational and promotes teamwork, sharing, problem solving and being kind to one another. I only hope that they start selling some Jungle Junction merchandise before her birthday in March. She really wants a Jungle Junction birthday party.

Entertaining but not engaging
I fine that Disney programing for preschoolers tends to be more about entertainment than education. I watched the show with my 3 year old and found the conversation and story line to be a little complex. He asked why the animals had wheels for feet and I wasn't sure myself. He was entertained by the program but not engaged

My 4 month old's very first favorite show!
My daughter started watching this at 4 months old! She is focused on it and, while I am sure she does not "get" the messages as she is too young, this will be a great show for her when she is older. *Update* She is now 18 months old and it is *STILL* her favorite show! She will stop in her tracks at just the sound of the music!
