Parents need to know that this series features brides-to-be and their entourages enjoying wild Las Vegas bachelorette parties, which include lots of sexually provocative behaviors, catty interactions, and excessive drinking. The drinking often leads to arguments, hangovers, and sometimes medical emergencies. The Palms Casino is prominently featured as a sponsor of the show; Bentley cars and other luxury items are also visible.
BACHELORETTE PARTY: LAS VEGAS is a reality series featuring Las Vegas Palms Casino Senior V.P. Jon Gray, and event planners Elliot Wronski and Jason Craig, as they create and host over-the-top bachelorette parties. The V.I.P. team pulls out all the stops to cater to each of their guest bride-to-be's whims, whether it be getting a famous rapper to perform at the party or creating a celebration with a Barbie theme. Pulling these parties together isn't easy, especially when Wronski and Craig have to act as cheerful party hosts while making sure that things are working as planned. But even when they do everything possible to make sure that each bride-to-be's final celebration as a single woman is the party of her dreams, the bride, and her entourage, always seem to stir up some kind of drama on their own.
The series offers a glimpse into some Las Vegas bachelorette parties that include all the luxuries and outlandish behavior that they are known for. Some of the episodes are almost Bridezilla-like, too, as brides-to-be ensure that everyone knows that the attention should be on them.
It doesn't offer much more than voyeuristic look at some of the wild parties people throw to celebrate the end of their single womanhood. The conflicts that arise between the party participants also offer some typical reality show drama. But some folks may find some of the crazy antics here entertaining to watch.
Families can talk about why brides-to-be would want to appear on this show. What do they stand to gain...or lose?
How does this show portray drinking? Do you think it glamorizes excessive drinking or does it do a good job of showing realistic consequences?
