Parents need to know that this animated comedy series features some disturbing sexual humor relating to its lead character, a 7-year-old genius. Fantasy scenes between the boy and his much older principal involve near nudity and implied sex. There's also mild swearing and some negative messaging with regard to the lead character's poor behavior and disdain for authority.
What's the story?
ALLEN GREGORY (voiced by Jonah Hill) is a 7-year-old boy genius for whom the term "precocious" doesn't quite seem strong enough. He's basically a fortysomething snob in the body of a little kid, and his father (French Stewart) caters to his every whim. Until, that is, money gets tight and he has to place his precious child into the public elementary school system. The show deals with Allen Gregory's very difficult time adjusting his high standards and eccentric behavior to the realities of childhood.
Is it any good?
Allen Gregory is part of Fox's bedrock Sunday night animation block. After decades of series after series occupying these slots, from The Simpsons and Futurama to King of the Hill and Family Guy, there's a general tone that they all struggle to achieve. It's a tricky combination of the witty and the witless, and more often than not, the shows miss that mark entirely, even when they become wildly successful with an audience that prizes the witlessness more than the wit.
Allen Gregory has potential; there are some funny concepts, strong jokes, vivid characters, and a quirky animation style. Even the music has charm. But in its struggle to incorporate those witless, crass, and even shocking concepts that Fox viewers seem to require, it totally misses the mark. It's hard to find any humor in watching a 7-year-old child -- even an animated one -- engage in softcore sexual fantasies about his sixtysomething principal, complete with partial nudity of a grotesque parody of an elderly woman's body. Frankly, it's a bit nauseating.

In general, I thought that this was a spectacle worthy of my vision, and my opinion hasn't changed. This show is witty and unpredictable in my opinion, with an adequate quantity of sexual innuendo and swearing. It had other aspects, but I advise you sit through the show to find out what they are. My favorite character in the show was probably the gay who was a bit quiet, aka, the husband that Allen despises. Allen turns out to be just as pompous and pretentious as expected to be, but not too much. I suggest you try the show.

Edgy, and just BAD.
I saw this show and was immediately like: "This is just sad." I didn't like its content, and I thought it was poorly made. Don't even give this show a chance.

Sounds Boring....and I watch Shows Like Regular Show (not bad , u should watch it ;) ) i never watched this show, but it sounds like a show with lots of sex..dont want to see it

Very funny show about a pretentious 7- year old named Allen Gregory DeLongpre, who is forced to go to a public elementary school. A.G. is a rude, crude, dude who says terrible things to people. He has a Cambodian sister Julie, who has two best friends named Val and Beth. Allen Gregory's father is a homosexual, who made a straight man leave his wife and kids to be with him. The main aspect of this show that is great is the insane CRUELTY! One thing that pisses me off is the insane sexual fantasies thought of by Allen Gregory about his sixty-something year old principal. He is also very cruel to his teacher Gina Winthrop. Allen Gregory is some what of an alcoholic. He drinks Pinot Grigio at school.

Disgusting humor for ages 21 and up
It shows men having sex, they talk about private body parts, and they say words like f**k, b***ch, and s**t. This is rated TV-14 when it should be rated TV-MA!
