What parents need to know

Parents need to know that this album is filled with classic kid-friendly Christmas tunes so there's nothing to worry about; great for any age.

  • Nothing necessarily educational, but includes a wide range of classic Christmas tunes.
  • Classic Christmas songs that celebrate the season and emphasize spending time with family.
  • Everyone's favorite red-nosed reindeer teaches us the importance of being kind to others and loving yourself no matter what.
  • Not applicable.

What's the story?

Two-man band Hullabaloo rings in the holiday season with their album SANTA SONGS, which includes twelve well-known, beloved Christmas classics such as "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," "Jingle Bells," and "Frosty the Snowman."

Is it any good?

Hullabaloo is known for their indie-folk rock tunes with funny twists and flair. Although Santa Songs is full of family-favorite Christmas tunes, there isn't necessarily anything special about them on this album. If you like Hullabaloo, it's a safe bet that the entire family will probably enjoy their collection for the yuletide season, especially with kid faves like "Frosty the Snowman" and "Jingle Bells."

What families can talk about

  • Families can talk about the popularity and appeal of Christmas songs. What is your favorite Christmas song? Why? Is this an album that you think your family will listen to every year?

  • Do you like more traditional Christmas songs like "Jingle Bells" and "Frosty the Snowman" or newer songs? Why do you think so many musicians like to sing holiday songs and make Christmas albums?
