Parents need to know that this soundtrack features music from the TV show Phineas and Ferb, as well as all of the songs from the feature-length movie. As usual, there's snarky humor, witty lyrics, and a variety of music that will please parents and kids. There's no iffy content in the music. If you're fine letting your kids watch the show, then you should feel OK letting them listen to this soundtrack, too.
PHINEAS AND FERB: ACROSS THE 1ST AND 2ND DIMENSIONS SOUNDTRACK lets fans enjoy 22 songs from the hit animated kids' TV show, as well as tunes from the feature-length movie Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension. The album includes favorites like "Summer (Where Do We Begin?)," "Perfect Day," and "Perry the Platypus."
When they accidentally stumble upon another dimension of Danville, Phineas and Ferb find themselves on a zany adventure. The music takes you along for the ride with the usual clever brand of P&F lyrics and funky pop, rock, rap, disco, and even evil singing from a delusional scientist. Fans will love the bluesy "Rollercoaster," Candace's rhyming skillz in "Come Home, Perry," and Love Handel's "Robot Riot."
The genius of the show is that it caters to all ages, and the same goes for the music; parents shouldn't feel guilty about adding this soundtrack to their playlists.
Families can talk about the immense popularity of Phineas and Ferb. What do you think makes the show so successful? Why does it seem to resonate with grown-ups, too?
