Parents need to know that Boob Job can be used to alter a photo to enlarge someone's chest, then share that photo online. Users first take a photo or select one from their camera roll, Facebook, or several public photo sharing sites such as Flickr. Searching public sites may yield mature images. After selecting a photo, users guide circular targets to select two areas of the photo to enlarge. After augmentation, users can save the photo and share it via email, Facebook, Twitter, or several public sharing sites. While the app could theoretically be simply silly, importing from and posting to Facebook and public sites make it too risky for kids.
What we can say is that BOOB JOB does what it says it will do. The resizing controls on the final editing page aren't entirely clear, but otherwise the desired effect on photos is generally achieved. The app's description in the Android Market asks users to "augment responsibly!" and avoid defamation, harassment, or using the app to envision the results of actual breast augmentation surgery. However, none of this guidance is integrated into the app itself, and the ability to use Facebook to import and share photos is just asking for trouble.
