Parents need to know that Twister Mania is a party game best suited for multiple players. The game allows up to eight participants to compete, making it ideal for large groups of friends or family. The main gameplay challenge across all game modes is for players to bend and twist their bodies to correspond to shapes that appear on the screen. It is meant to provide a fun experience rather than a mind-bending challenge.
What's it about?
TWISTER MANIA uses the Xbox 360 Kinect camera to let players move their bodies to match shapes shown on screen. So, if a silhouette of a man doing a jumping jack appears, players need to spread their legs and arms to mimic the pose. The game is designed for group play, so players face off to see who can match the shapes the quickest and most accurately. There are a variety of game modes that determine how shapes are presented, including one where one player strikes a pose and then the competing player has to mimic that exact pose. It is very much defined as a party game.
Is it any good?
Twister Mania is a fantastic game for multiple players. It is fun for two players but even more of a riot as more players are added, with support for up to eight in the standard game modes.
That said, there is very little incentive to play the game in single-player mode. Most challenges are easy; the fun comes in performing better than friends or family. As a result, this game is highly recommended for group play but not for players playing alone.

Family fun for everyone!
My family and I just bought this game today. So far we Love it! I did say the game is educational due to kinesthetics. Awareness of one's body position is a very important skill! Great family fun. I won't have any hesitation letting my son and his friends play this at his 11th birthday party :)
